Erasmus+ Projects that We Are Coordinator and Partner

Sharenting or Parenting?
2024-1-HU01-KA153-YOU-000198459

Our project, coordinated by our association, focuses on the concept of "Sharenting" and aims to raise awareness about the risks and ethical concerns associated with sharing children's lives on social media. As digitalization becomes an integral part of daily life, many young parents have turned social media into a platform for showcasing their personal lives, often involving their children, sometimes without considering privacy, security, and children's rights. This phenomenon has even evolved into a business model, where parents monetize their content through sponsorships and promotions. However, the long-term consequences of exposing children's personal data online remain largely misunderstood. Our project, conducted in Budapest from December 9 to December 15, 2024, in partnership with Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, and Türkiye, aimed to highlight the potential dangers of "Sharenting," promote digital security awareness, emphasize the right to be forgotten, and encourage responsible social media use. Additionally, the project contributed to the visibility of Erasmus+ programs, supported youth workers in developing digital skills, and fostered positive perspectives on intercultural communication.

Our association participated as a partner in this project, which took place from September 21 to September 27, 2024. The project, involving participants from France, Hungary, Italy, Türkiye, and Ukraine, focused on promoting digital detox and raising awareness about the impact of excessive screen time on young people's well-being. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and practical activities, participants learned strategies for managing digital habits and incorporating offline activities into their daily lives. Additionally, the project equipped youth workers with resources to support young people in achieving digital balance. By fostering self-awareness and a sense of community, the project successfully encouraged healthier and more mindful technology use.

Our association is a partner in this project, which aims to raise awareness among young parents about the impact of technology on children and encourage their engagement in social activities instead of excessive virtual gaming. The project, held in Saint-Mandé from September 19–24, 2023, brought together 60 participants from Turkiye, France, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Italy, and Portugal. Through various interactive activities such as kite flying, puppet performances, and cultural exchanges, the project emphasized child psychology, digital safety, and social development. Additionally, it promoted the Erasmus+ program, gender equality, and intercultural understanding while fostering equal opportunities for young people with fewer resources.
