ABOUT US
Established in Budapest in 2022, Little Hearts Child Educational Center is a volunteer-based platform dedicated to promoting the well-being and rights of children. With a diverse team of pedagogues, preschool teachers, classroom educators, and passionate young individuals, the organization strives to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Our primary focus is to ensure that children are healthy and happy, access their rights effortlessly, and receive adequate attention from parents and teachers, while supporting their education in cultural and social domains

The founding members of Little Hearts are experts in the field of family and child pedagogy, with extensive research on preventing child neglect and abuse. Our members are highly motivated to raise awareness on the pressing issues of child abuse and neglect, as well as advocate for children's rights. With more than 100 active volunteers, we aim to increase the visibility of children's rights and enhance awareness among teachers and parents. Recognizing that children are first shaped within their families and later through their educational experiences, we focus on empowering youth, children, and educators who will shape future generations.

Our mission is to carry out informative studies on the content and importance of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We organize workshops and interactive games to help children understand their rights, conduct awareness projects for parents and future parents, and provide training sessions to address critical issues like child abuse and child labor. We also emphasize the importance of keeping children in schools and playgrounds, while fighting against child marriage. Additionally, we aim to increase awareness of the Erasmus+ program and encourage youth participation in volunteering projects that tackle global issues.

Little Hearts Child Educational Center is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive community. Through collaboration with various stakeholders in Budapest, we have successfully reached a broad audience and continue to expand our efforts. Our goal is to amplify the importance of children's rights and education on an international platform through projects and partnerships within the Erasmus+ program.

Our experience in advocating for children's rights is extensive. We have actively participated in events such as the Child Rights Workshop in 2020, where children were educated about their rights under the UN Convention. We have also contributed to the Disabled Children's Rights Network, supported by the European Union, and participated in World Children's Day events, where youth from diverse backgrounds expressed their dreams for a more sustainable and equitable world through art. Additionally, our members have taken part in panels discussing the impact of play on child development and nutrition behaviors in kindergarten children.

The core members of Little Hearts bring valuable expertise to the organization. From experienced educators and child development specialists to experts in Erasmus+ project writing and language support, our team is well-equipped to implement and monitor projects effectively. With backgrounds in education, child psychology, and social work, our members are dedicated to supporting children and raising awareness on crucial issues affecting their well-being.

As part of our international collaboration, we have partnered with projects such as “I Care About Kids” in France and “Guarantee Your Future” in Latvia. Our own project, “Sharenting or Parenting?” focuses on raising awareness about the privacy and security risks associated with parents sharing their children's lives on social media. By increasing awareness of children's rights and privacy, we aim to protect the well-being of children in the digital age.

With a strong foundation in Budapest and a growing presence on the international stage, Little Hearts Child Educational Center remains committed to advocating for children's rights and creating a brighter future for all children.
