The Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project “A Cultural Case: Sports” (Project No: 2025-1-AT01-KA153-YOU-000299955). Through interactive presentations, participants explored the historical development of these traditional sports and discussed their contribution to community life and social cohesion.

The learning experience continued with practical workshops, where participants had the opportunity to play the games themselves. These hands-on activities encouraged cooperation, teamwork, and intercultural communication while demonstrating how traditional sports can be effectively incorporated into non-formal education. By actively participating, youth workers gained practical methods they can adapt for future activities with young people in their own communities.

Reflection sessions held at the end of the day allowed participants to exchange ideas about the educational value of traditional sports and the importance of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. The discussions highlighted that, regardless of cultural background, sport has the unique ability to create meaningful dialogue, mutual respect, and lasting international connections.

For Kicsi Szívek Gyermekoktatási Központ Egyesület, this stage of the project provided another valuable opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, discover innovative educational practices, and further demonstrate how sport can serve as a powerful tool for cultural understanding, inclusion, and lifelong learning.
