I Care About Kids Project Successfully Concludes with Lasting Impact

The Erasmus+ KA152-YOU Mobility of Young People project "I Care About Kids" (Project Code: 2023-1-FR02-KA152-YOU-000145811) Throughout the mobility, participants explored a wide range of non-formal learning methods designed to encourage children to spend more time engaging in creative, social, and outdoor activities instead of relying heavily on digital entertainment. Workshops on kite making, traditional games, puppet theatre, teamwork, storytelling, and collaborative learning demonstrated how simple educational tools can positively influence children's communication skills, creativity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

The project also created an important platform for discussing the responsibilities of parents, youth workers, and educators in supporting children's balanced development. Participants exchanged experiences from their own countries, shared successful educational practices, and developed new ideas that can be implemented within their organisations and local communities. These international exchanges strengthened intercultural understanding while reinforcing the importance of cooperation in addressing common social challenges.

Another significant achievement of the project was the promotion of the Erasmus+ Programme and its values. Participants increased their understanding of non-formal education, active citizenship, inclusion, equal opportunities, and intercultural dialogue. By working in diverse international teams, they further developed their communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork competences while building lasting friendships and professional networks across Europe.

As the mobility concluded, participants reflected on their learning journey, evaluated the project's outcomes, and celebrated their achievements together. The experience not only expanded their personal and professional perspectives but also inspired them to continue promoting children's well-being, volunteering, and international cooperation within their own communities.
