Guarantee Your Future Has Started! What Happened on the First Day?

The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project "Guarantee Your Future" (Project Code: 2023-1-LV02-KA152-YOU-000131745), co-partnered by Kicsi Szívek Egyesülete and hosted in Riga, Latvia, has officially begun with great enthusiasm! Hosted at Hotel Viktorija, the project brought together a total of 48 young participants and group leaders from Latvia, Türkiye, Hungary, Georgia, Czechia, and Italy.

The first day kicked off dynamically. The ice was broken through the "Adjectives and Nouns" name game, designed to help participants get to know one another and build connections. Next, during the "Let’s Be Informed: Erasmus+" session, participants were divided into groups to research European Voluntary Service, Youth Exchanges, and Youth Workers' Mobility projects, followed by poster presentations. The learning outcomes were reinforced through an engaging Kahoot quiz at the end of the session.

In the afternoon, an informative session on the "Youthpass Certificate" was delivered under the guidance of the Hungarian group leader. The importance of Youthpass in job hunting and its 8 key competencies were introduced, and participants were provided with dedicated notebooks to record their daily reflections. During the "Let’s Get To Know Our Project and Environment" session, participants were briefed on Riga, project rules, and safety guidelines before embarking on a city exploration in small groups. Following the daily evaluation session, the day concluded with Hungary's Cultural Night, offering everyone a chance to immerse themselves in a new culture.
